The challenge
Using user research, field research, market analysis, and immersion along with stakeholders from Sr. Pago, we gathered the necessary information to create a sufficient product definition.
The goal was to build a payment tool that would take a more prominent role in Konfio's previous platform, which was focused on credit services. It would now be part of the app, but as one of the business management and operation tools.
My role
Launching a new product for the Konfío Ecosystem
I played a leadership role in developing a new line of payment products at Konfío, gaining experience in technical skills such as building production requirements and tracking metrics, while also driving workflow improvements and guiding product direction in a fast-paced environment.
Approach
I led the design of the user experience for the payment tools. I collaborated from the conceptualization, the definition of features, the wireframing, the prototyping for usability testing, the design of the interface according to a design system in construction, the definition of development requirements, and the monitoring of product metrics.
I was the leader of a team of product designers and worked hand in hand with PMs, technical leaders and stakeholders from the areas involved in each project.
Other contributions
- Contributed to the design system interactions, creating new components every sprint as the platform grew.
- Participated in other flows within the platform such as onboarding, profile management and business management tools like inventory, customer directory and billing.
- Led initiatives to build a culture within the Product team through running workshops, team-building activities and ceremonies that fostered cohesion."
Discovery and understanding through Product Metrics
A thorough analysis of product metrics, market trends, and the competitive landscape was conducted to inform the definition of the platform's features, functionalities and user flows. This was crucial to ensure that the platform meets the needs of the target users and provides a competitive advantage.
